A single from Astro-Creep: 2000, released on Geffen in 1995. The record is assembled in large part out of other people’s audio. Its best-known song is named after a line of corporate dialogue from a film thirteen years older.

The song does not quote the motto. It takes the film’s audio and plays it: the manufactured man, standing in front of the man who made him, asking for more life.

Or father. Rutger Hauer delivered it so that it would sit between the two words and could not be settled. The 2007 restoration settled it. The restoration is the later object and it contains the more definite text.
